Anagama Workshop at Guldagergaard Center

by Woodfiring.net

This workshop will focus on firing Guldagergaard’s small Anagama, called by many BABYGAMA. – kiln built by Andres Allik, kiln master from Estonia. It is a smaller version of the traditional Japanese Anagama kiln, with addition of a secret chamber in the back suitable only for wood firing glazes, meaning that very little or no ash deposit at all will reach that part of the kiln during the firing. It has impressive 1.5 m3 of space and dimensions W115 x L218 x H92.
